Deep Hayer

About

I am Deep Hayer. I study applied math and business at Austin Community College. I was admitted at 12, finished two A.A. degrees in May 2026 (small business management and business administration), and finish a third in mathematics in December 2026.

I build things and write about them. The work tends to sit at the intersection of applied math, finance, and behavioral psychology. Right now that means chalkIQ (sports models), compIQ (real estate comps), admittr (admissions probability), a HOI4 combat-model paper, and redflag (brand transparency).

On this site I publish three kinds of things. Essays, which are exploratory and Montaigne-ish. Analysis, which is structured writing on sports, commercial real estate, M&A, and finance. Notes, which are fragments, observations, and short pieces that do not deserve a longer treatment yet.

Right now I am looking for internships in Austin: commercial real estate, family offices, boutique investment banks, and energy / power trading. If your team works on modeling, comps, underwriting, or anything where applied math meets dollars, email me.
